The City of Fort Lauderdale, FL implemented LauderGO! Micro Mover, a free, all-electric shuttle service operated by Circuit to improve the community’s transit system. 

Micro Mover bridges gaps in Broward County Transit’s (BCT) current service areas to ensure that residents and visitors alike experience seamless transit around the City. Micro Mover provides direct connections to Brightline, Tri-Rail, and the LauderGO! Community Shuttle.

This past week, Micro Mover moved its 700,000th passenger! This incredible milestone represents thousands of trips to the beach and downtown shopping areas that stimulate local spending as well as essential connections to larger transit hubs.

Circuit is proud to continue partnering with Fort Lauderdale, getting people where they need to go.

Key Program Highlights

  • 325+ metric tons of CO2 avoided from being released into the atmosphere. As an all-electric microtransit company, sustainability is at the forefront of our service. Our partners in Fort Lauderdale are similarly invested in environmental efforts with goals to reach carbon-neutrality by 2050. By preventing greenhouse gas emissions, Micro Mover helps us both.

Expansive Connections that Keep Expanding!

For residents and visitors, Micro Mover means they no longer have to choose between lengthy on-foot trips or expensive rideshare options like Uber and Lyft that worsen traffic congestion. Instead, they can take advantage of convenient, sustainable transit for free!

The strong ridership and general success of the program led to an additional service in Northwest Fort Lauderdale added in February of 2025. Now, Micro Mover operates three service locations in the Northwest region, Downtown and Beach areas, and Galt Mile with a recent expansion of the Galt Mile service to include the Coral Ridge Mall area. This expansion brings additional economic activity to local businesses and restaurants.
