Since launching in 2023, Trenton residents have relied on GOTrenton! to get where they need to go. GOTrenton! is an award-winning program brought to the City of Trenton in partnership with local non-profit, Isles, Inc., along with support from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection. 

Today, the program has officially reached 100,000 riders. Behind this milestone are thousands of meaningful trips, like a neighbor getting to the grocery store, a resident making it to a healthcare appointment, a family connecting at a community center, or a commuter easily reaching the transit center.

Connecting the Trenton Community

GOTrenton! was designed with input from residents, community groups, and local leaders to build an on-demand, microtransit program that actually meets local needs. Demand has grown, but the mission remains the same: provide affordable, accessible, and sustainable transportation that helps people get where they need to go when they need to get there.

Nearly 30% of Trenton households don't have access to a car making reliable transportation essential for day-to-day tasks. Operated by Circuit and accessible through the on-demand app, GOTrenton! fills the transit-gap and helps residents reach jobs, food, healthcare, and community events.

• Soup Kitchens: 10,000+ trips.

Expanding Service and Sustainability

In just two years, GOTrenton! has traveled over 100,000 miles, created local jobs, and made meaningful progress toward a more sustainable future. Recent program improvements have expanded coverage and improved the rider experience, including:

• The addition of Sunday service.

• Doubling of the original coverage area.

• A $2 flat fare that helps balance supply and demand.

These updates have made rides faster and more reliable dropping average wait times by 20%.
