A Resort That Thinks Beyond the Room
The best hotel amenities are the ones guests remember without knowing they were planned. At the Pelican Grand Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale, a branded electric shuttle runs from early morning to evening, getting staff to work on time and giving guests a way to explore the beach without touching their car keys. It's one vehicle doing two jobs, and it reflects exactly how a property like this thinks about hospitality. The result is a property that runs smoother, guests who explore more, and a brand that looks the part.
"The free hotel shuttle into town is a must use and Annie is a very knowledgeable driver to give tips and recommendations for dinner downtown Fort Lauderdale."

The Opportunity: Make the Surrounding Area Feel Like Part of the Stay
The Pelican Grand Beach Resort is a Noble House property, which means the bar for guest experience is set high. Noble House builds and operates hotels where the details matter, from the rooms to the restaurants to how a guest feels when they're moving between the two. The Pelican Grand sits directly on A1A, close to Las Olas Boulevard, the Galleria, and some of Fort Lauderdale's best waterfront dining.
Guests at a beachfront resort tend to stay close. Traffic along A1A moves slowly, rideshare wait times on a busy weekend can be frustrating, and most people would rather not move their car once they've parked. The result is that a lot of what Fort Lauderdale Beach has to offer goes unexplored, even by guests staying right in the middle of it.
The Pelican Grand saw an opening. A dedicated shuttle, branded and staffed to the property's standard, could extend the guest experience beyond the lobby and onto the strip, to dinner at Las Olas, to the Galleria, to wherever the afternoon takes someone who doesn't want to think about logistics.
The Solution: An Amenity That Builds Hotel Loyalty
The Pelican Grand partnered with Circuit to run a single branded electric van on a schedule built around how the property actually operates. Three times a day, the shuttle runs between the Galleria and the resort to bring staff in at shift changes. In the hours between, that same vehicle becomes available to guests through the concierge desk.
The van is wrapped in Pelican Grand branding, charged and stored at the Galleria, and driven by Circuit's trained local drivers. From a guest's perspective, it feels like a resort service because it is one. From an operations perspective, the same vehicle that solves a staffing logistics need is also delivering a guest-facing amenity throughout the day.
The concierge handles guest bookings directly, keeping the experience consistent with how the property manages everything else. No app required, no third-party branding, no friction.
The Results: Hotel Guests Stay Moving
Nearly 29,000 riders have used the shuttle across its operational life, with the vehicle running up to 16 hours per day. For a single-vehicle program, that's consistent, high-utilization service that delivers value on both ends of the schedule.
The fully electric vehicle fits naturally within Noble House's commitment to environmental stewardship across its portfolio. Every guest trip that replaces a solo car ride along A1A reduces emissions and keeps one more vehicle off a congested stretch of coast. That alignment doesn't require extra marketing. The vehicle on the street makes the point.
What makes this program work is the structure. Staff transportation and guest transportation aren't competing priorities here. They share a schedule, and the hours spent on one make the other possible.
If your property is looking for a way to give guests more of the destination they came for, a dedicated Circuit shuttle is worth considering.
