Built into the venue's core mobility strategy, the program serves fans across Los Angeles. By eliminating parking pain points and reducing emissions, the service not only enhances convenience, but sets a new standard for how sports venues can lead on sustainability, accessibility, and fan-first design.

Powering Sustainable Game-Day Access in Inglewood
Transportation isn't just a logistical detail, it's a defining element of a venue's brand identity. When LA Clippers owner Steve Ballmer envisioned the Intuit Dome, he was on a mission to create more than just a world-class sports arena. He wanted to truly redefine what the fan experience feels like. This meant rethinking every single facet of the experience, including the journey to and from the venue.
The result? A free, fully electric shuttle service powered by Circuit was built into the launch of Intuit Dome's operations.
A Smarter Way to Arrive
Anyone who has been to an event at SoFi Stadium knows the pain of Inglewood's parking ecosystem. The Intuit Dome, located directly adjacent, inherits those same challenges.
- Parking fees regularly exceed $50-$70 at nearby lots during events
- Rideshare services can range from $25-$40 for a 30 minute trip within Los Angeles
- Compounding these issues are congested roads, poor pedestrian access, and minimal first/last mile solutions from existing transit hubs
Steve Ballmer wanted a solution that worked for everyone. One that cut across income levels, neighborhoods, and mobility barriers. The answer wasn't just better parking or more bike racks. It was a regional mobility network for Intuit Dome, designed to meet fans where they are: a seamless, app-integrated, zero-cost shuttle system operated by Circuit that reimagines how people arrive on game day.
How it Works

Fans can reserve their ride through the Intuit Dome app seamlessly integrated with the same platform used for digital ticketing and concessions. Rides can be requested up to 7 days in advance, making it easy for fans to plan ahead and secure reliable transportation to and from the arena.
Intuit Dome's electric microtransit fleet operates within a 6-mile service radius of the venue, providing over 100 virtual pickup locations across Inglewood and nearby communities.
Every vehicle in the fleet is fully electric, driven by trained local staff and wrapped in branded visuals. The service is designed to be flexible, accessible, and inclusive, bringing the game-day experience closer to fans without the friction of traffic, parking, or long walks.
Why It's Making a Difference
Fans still drive, even when it's inconvenient:
Research from Sustainability (MDPI) shows 66% of sports fans travel by car, with only 5.1% choosing low-emissions options. Why? Alternatives are rarely convenient or simply unknown to fans.
Intuit Dome is helping turn this narrative around. By offering a reliable and tech-enabled service, this program is making the sustainable choice the most intuitive way to get to the game.
More than a ride:
A Leisure Studies research article found that transportation touchpoints shape how fans remember the entire event. When the ride is smooth, safe, and social, it creates emotional lift that carries into the arena. Fans often describe the Intuit Shuttle ride as an integral part of their game-day experience.
Smart policy, smart communication:
What sets Intuit Dome apart is how the shuttle program was rolled out, not just as a feature, but as part of a broader strategy to shift fan behavior:
- Embedded directly within the app
- Promoted in pre-event communications
- Supported with clear signage and on-site ambassadors
A Blueprint for the Future of Live Events
The Intuit Dome isn't just innovating on the court, it's reshaping how fans move, gather, and experience game day. Steve Ballmer and the Clippers have created a fan experience as forward-thinking outside the arena as it is inside.
Pairing zero-emission fleets, regional access, and tech-powered convenience, offers a powerful model for venues and arenas across the country. It proves that solving transportation isn't just a matter of infrastructure, but of brand, equity and vision.
As other stadiums combat the realities of traffic congestion, emissions, and affordability, Intuit Dome demonstrates what's possible when sustainability and fan experience are prioritized. It's not just a better way to get to the game, it's a better way to think about what kind of experience a stadium can deliver.
